The
sense of self is the source of all comparison. It is the source of all
jealousy, and negativity. Even in the positive, there is the sense of
insecurity of how fleeting this may be. That is why, the rational response for
anyone actually seeking spiritual evolution, is to be at peace with the notion
of giving up the self. Without that, there cannot be progress.
El sentido de sí mismo es la fuente de toda comparación. Es la fuente de todo los celos, y la negatividad. Incluso en lo positivo, está el sentimiento de inseguridad de lo efímera que pueda ser. Por eso, la respuesta racional para cualquier persona efectivamente en busca de la evolución espiritual, es estar en paz con la idea de renunciar a uno mismo. Sin eso, no puede haber progreso.
